Napanee Hospital Fundraiser

A pre-Christmas book signing at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital was a great event. It raised several hundred dollars for the terrific little hospital in Napanee and its current campaign to help fund a new MRI at the Kingston General Hospital.
It also provided me with an opportunity to meet many people I haven’t seen in a long time---in some cases close to 50 years !
I owe so much to my hometown and it was a privilege to participate in the hospital foundation’s Christmas tea and to sell some books with proceeds going to such a worthy cause.
We sold 44 copies of Laughed Till They Cried that afternoon, with $ 10 from each sale going to the foundation. In addition, I donated another 12 books, meaning the event could add more than $ 700 to the fundraising campaign.
My thanks to the wonderful people who organized the event and to all those who attended and took the time to share memories of the great times we had growing up, going to school and living in Napanee !
